Here is a recipe for low carb Cappuccino to try

2.4 grams of carbs per serve compared to about 14 grams in a normal one.


⅓ cup espresso
¼ cup coconut milk
cocoa powder
optional: 3-6 drops liquid Stevia extract or other low-carb sweetener if you want it sweet

How to froth milk in microwave:

Pour the milk into the jar: Fill your jar with as much milk as you normally use in your coffee, but no more than halfway full so there's room to make some foam.
Shake the jar with the lid on: Screw on the lid. Shake the jar as hard as you can until the milk is froth and has roughly doubled in volume, 30 to 60 seconds.
Microwave for 30 seconds: Take the lid off the jar. Microwave uncovered for 30 seconds. The foam will rise to the top of the milk and the heat from the microwave will help stabilize it.
Use the foam: Pour the warm milk into your coffee and spoon the milk foam on top.

Prepare the required amount of espresso. Pour some hot coconut milk into the espresso using a knife/spatula to hold back the foam. When the cup is filled up to 2/3, spoon the froth on the top. Sprinkle some cocoa powder and you're done!
