What is Ketosis? When the body is in the fat burning state — where it has no carbohydrate to burn and is breaking down body fat for fuel, the body is in a state of ketosis. 
So being in ketosis simply means that you're burning your fat stores and using them as the source of fuel they were meant to be. 
We use XLR8 Ketone Test Strips to measure this.
What are XLR8 Ketone Strips? XLR8 Ketone Strips are small, thin plastic strips with a small reagent area on them.   When XLR8 Ketone Strips are passed through a stream of urine, the reagent area changes color to indicate the amount of ketones that are present in your urine.  This is an important indicator for those on XLR8 because it lets us know that our body has adapted to ketosis and we are doing the diet right. How do I use them? Simply hold the strip through a stream of urine.  Wait approximately 15 seconds and then compare your results to the back of the bottle of strips. A beige or cream color indicates NO KETOSIS detected. Any shade of pink/purple indicates some level of ketones in the urine. How often should I test? It is recommended you test morning and night to give you a proper inidcation of your Ketosis.  Morning will give a different reading than later in the day.  You can test more throughout the day if you want check how much carbs you can have before you are not in Ketosis. Advantages This is a great motivator everyday to keep you on XLR8,  it is a great feeling seeing XLR8 Ketone Stick turn purple.  It’s a little bit of positive reinforcement that those of us on XLR8 are doing the program right and we are well on our way to getting off this roller coaster of dieting.  This is the “proof” you need to stay committed that your body truly is burning fat and it can sometimes be the little push we need to put to ensure we stay focused and reduce the carbs throughout the day. What if your stick doesn't turn?

A negative result does not always mean you're not in ketosis. If you're keeping your carbs at 20 grams a day, you're probably in ketosis. 

Keep in mind, though, that it's possible to keep your actual carb count low and still side-step ketosis. The reason could be with some hidden ingredients in foods even a small amount of "High Fructose Corn Syrup" (HFCS), which can cause a strong insulin spike and halt fat burning. HFCS is far more destructive to your health and your weight loss than regular sugar.  Make sure you keep an eye on everything you eat and look for hidden sugars

How much does shipping cost?

At XLR8, we offer $12.95 standard shipping across Australia, we also have express post shipping if you wish to choose at $16.95

When will my order be sent?

We expect all orders to be sent within three business days of order being placed.  If there are any delays we will email you immediately.  Express Shipping orders will be sent the next business day.

 

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once you've placed you order, you will be directed to an order confirmation message which will contain your order number. This information will also be emailed to you; this can take up to 30 minutes to arrive in your inbox- so hold tight!

We use Australia Post and will keep you updated with our tracking system.

Express Post - we cannot guarantee next day delivery but will guarantee next day shipping.

 

ORDER CONFIRMATION 

On receipt and full payment of an order, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address you entered at checkout to confirm your order. 

Where's my confirmation email? 

If you did not receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of successfully placing your order then you may have entered your email address incorrectly. Another reason you may not have received the email is if your ISP flagged our confirmation email as spam. All confirmation emails are sent from admin@xlr8health.com.au 

Please contact us by phone or email with your full name and order number and we will confirm your order. 

ORDER CANCELLATION 

Cancellation of orders must be notified to XLR8 Health immediately. To cancel an order please email us at admin@xlr8health.com.au. Once goods are despatched, cancellation of an order cannot be effected. 

STOCK AVAILABILITY 

XLR8 Health will endeavour to ensure that products displayed on the Site are available. However, we cannot guarantee stock availability. As such, XLR8 Healthwill not be liable for stock unavailability or for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, damages from loss of profits, goodwill, data or other intangible losses, due to stocks being unavailable for purchase. 

RETURNS POLICY 

Customer satisfaction and service is of great importance to us here at XLR8 Health. If you are dissatisfied in any way with any of our products or services please feel free to email us at admin@xlr8health.com.au If any of our products are found to be damaged or different from what you ordered, you may request a refund in which your order is returned to us along with a copy of your purchase receipt for a full refund or replacement.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Please note re do charge a 5% restock fee for change of mind or cancellation of your order.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@xlr8health.com.au and send your item to: 1 Tooma Pl, Pacific Pines, Queensland AU 4211.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 1 Tooma Place, Pacific Pines Queensland AU 4211

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

DELIVERY 

All items are sent from our Gold Coast head office in Pacific PinesQLD. We endeavour to process orders within 24 hours and aim to have items delivered to you asap from your order submission. 

We will contact you immediately of your order submission if any items are either out of stock or otherwise unavailable, to discuss alternative arrangements. 

NON DELIVERIES 

If an order does not arrive within the expected time, please notify us at admin@xlr8health.com.au 

XLR8 Health will endeavour to track the status of the delivery and advise you accordingly. If your goods are lost in transit, XLR8 Health will replace the item(s) and re-deliver at no cost to you. XLR8 Health reserves the right to investigate the nature of the non-delivery before agreeing to replace the item and re-deliver at its cost. If non-delivery is due to an incorrect delivery address provided by you, XLR8 Health will not be liable for the cost of replacing or resending the goods to the correct address.

DAMAGED GOODS

XLR8 Health will replace damaged goods and re-deliver at no cost to you. XLR8 Health however reserves the right to investigate the nature of the damage before agreeing to replace the item and re-deliver at its cost.

DEFECTIVE GOODS 

Goods that are defective upon delivery must be notified to XLR8 Health at admin@xlr8health.com.au within 7 days on receipt of goods. XLR8 Health will replace or repair defective goods and re-deliver at no cost to you. XLR8 Health however reserves the right to investigate the nature of the defect before agreeing to replace or repair the item and re-deliver at its cost. 

If goods are found to be defective, return freight charges will be borne by XLR8 HealthXLR8 Health shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, damages from loss of profits, goodwill, data or other intangible losses, resulting from defective goods.
